How it works

Open a photo or a video
Pick it from your gallery. Faces and license plates are detected at once, then tracked frame by frame through the whole video.

One track per face or plate on the timeline: switch each one on or off, move or resize a mask, or draw your own on anything else.

A clean file in the format of the original, sound kept, without location data, ready for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or your stories.

Photos and videos
Works on photos and videos up to 4K. The export keeps the format, the resolution and the sound of the original.
A timeline to stay in control
One track per face or plate. Switch a track on or off with a tap, split it, extend it, pin a position, undo and redo as much as you need.
Blur, mosaic or solid
Choose the style, the shape (oval or rectangle) and the strength, and add a manual mask on a screen, an address or a badge.
Private, for real
No ads, no trackers, no account, no data collected. The app does not even contain networking code, and the location is removed from exports.
Works offline
Detection, editing and export all run on your device, without an internet connection. Nothing is uploaded.

When will Floutly be available?
Floutly is in development. It will come out on Android, iPhone and Windows; the store buttons will appear on this page as soon as it is published.
Are my photos and videos sent anywhere?
No. Detection, editing and export run on your device. The app contains no networking code, collects no data and needs no account.
What does Floutly detect?
Faces and license plates. Anything else (a screen, an address, a badge) can be hidden with a manual mask that you place yourself.
Is detection always perfect?
Automatic detection is an aid: always review the result before posting. That is exactly what the timeline is for: every track can be checked, corrected or added by hand.
Will Floutly be free?
Detection, editing and preview will be free and unlimited, with a "PREVIEW" mark on the image. An optional subscription through your app store will export without the mark.
Is the quality of my video kept?
Yes. The export keeps the format, the codec and the sound of the original, at its own resolution or in 1080p or 720p.
Who is Floutly for?
Creators, journalists, real-estate agents, teachers, non-profits, and anyone who films in public and does not want to ask every passer-by for permission.
